Founded in 2015 by Mike Wilde and Matthew Shaxted, Parallel Works embarked on a mission to democratize High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), aiming to revolutionize how research and development (R&D) professionals engage with diverse computing resources. Initially, the company focused on commercializing advanced workflow technologies developed at Argonne National Laboratory, including the renowned Parsl framework.
